7-Year-Old Steals Car to Skip Church
A 7-year-old Utah boy might need a refresher course on the Ten Commandments, especially “Thou Shalt Not Steal.”
The boy from the city of Plain City was seen Sunday driving his dad’s white Dodge Intrepid. He ran a stop sign and almost hit another driver before turning into a local high school and then turning around to drive home. He made home to the driveway and ran into the house to hide. The reason for the joy ride? It sure was better than going to church.
Weber County Sherriff’s Deputies attempted to apprehend the boy by turning on their lights and blocking his way, but the boy eluded the authorities.
