Allen West to make his pitch on Fox’s
Allen West, the Plantation Republican seeking once again to unseat U.S. Rep. Ron Klein, takes his message Tuesday night to an important audience for a conservative Republican: viewers of the Hannity show on the Fox News Channel.
West is slated to appear during Sean Hannity’s program, which starts at 9 p.m.
The show’s page on the Fox website promotes the appearance with this description: “It’s the congressional campaign sweeping the Sunshine State! Inside Allen West’s strategy to take back Washington!”
West, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, whose 2008 campaign against Klein was limited by time and money, is a favorite at South Florida Republican gatherings.
West knows it’s potentially important. “My wife has already told me: ‘Don’t go up there and screw it up,’” he said.
West said he thinks his October speech, which activists call the Revolution speech since it was delivered at the Revolution night club in Fort Lauderdale, got interest from Hannity’s producers.
As of Tuesday morning, the video (below) is just shy of 1 million viewers.
