Brandon Spikes Eye Gouging (VIDEO)
During Saturday’s victory over Georgia, Florida linebacket Brandon Spikes was caught by TV cameras eye gouging an opponent.
Spikes got his helmet ripped off twice by Georgia offensive players early in the game, and it seems Spikes took his retaliation out on Georgia running back Washaun Ealey with a possible eye gouge. Spikes definitely reached into Ealey’s helmet and grabbed. (Orlandosentinel)
Florida coach Urban Meyer has suspended Spikes for the first half of Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt after the incident.
