Huntsman Cancer Institute
Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) at the University of Utah is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in the five-state Intermountain West. HCI’s mission is to understand the genesis of cancer, to educate the public about cancer risk and prevention, to provide hope for those who suffer from cancer today, and to create new treatments for future cancer patients.
HCI’s research efforts range from studies of developmental biology in model systems to broad-based population studies. As steward of the Utah Population Database, one of the most comprehensive genetic databases in the world, HCI researchers have discovered several genes that, when mutated, may lead to a greater risk of certain cancers. People with a significant family history of melanoma, colon, pancreatic, or breast cancer are enrolled in on-site research clinics designed to provide a resource to scientists looking for additional cancer-susceptibility genes, as well as to help participants protect themselves from inherited forms of cancer.

I have seen and heard about the endeavors Mr. Huntsman is undertaking. HE has many medical and humanitarian projects that are similar to our own. I am part of a group of professionals who are structuring our business and lives to devote our talents and resources towards making improvments in medical understanding and treatments for cancer, fibromyalgea, MS, Lupus, and auto-immune disorders. We are also funding projects in the US that provide better schooling, educational resources and humanitarian help overseas.
I need to talk with Mr. Jon Huntsman Sr directly about a business proposal to help fund his cancer project; introduce some new information about cancer; and help provide additional funding for his many other philanthropic projects. We need his help and participation in our own project in order to accomplish this. He will be able to profit well from the transaction.
