The list of World Series Champions by team topped the trends today. A lot are curious of who were the previous winners of the World Series. The World Series is the annual championship series of Major League Baseball (MLB). It has been the highest level of professional baseball in the United States and Canada since 1903, concluding the postseason of Major League Baseball.

The World Series is played between the champion clubs of the American League and the National League, which as of 2009 collectively include 29 clubs based inthe United States and one club from Canada,

whose rosters contain players from around the world. The modern World Series has been played every year since 1903 with the exception of 1904, which was cancelled when the NL champion New York Giants declined to play the AL champion Boston Americans, and 1994, which was cancelled due to the MLB strike.
